MUSIC – the live Entertainment

ORIGIN :

The word music derives from the Greek word Mike. Music is an art form of using the Sound in different forms and mediums. It is composed of elements like rhythm, tempo, meter and articulation.  Performance of a Music is accompanied by various instruments and vocal techniques ranging from singing to rapping; there are instrumental pieces runs, solely vocal pieces and pieces that combine singing and instruments. It is integrated and intermingled with our cultural and religious activity. Modern-day music is an integral part of the promotion of Products, and music starts with the starting bell of school .colleges. Any event, any welcome of dignitaries, any game any worship or even in the death bell.

Genres of music

 Music is of different types; It includes popular music, traditional Music, art music, Music written for religious ceremonies and folk songs. Music ranges from organized compositions—such as Classical music symphonies to spontaneously played improvisational music such as avant-garde styles of chance-based contemporary music and jazz from the 20th and 21st centuries.

Music can be divided into genres or categories  (e.g., country music) and genres are divided into subgenres (e.g., country blues and pop-country ). However, the dividing lines and relationships between music genres are minimal. It may be the personal interpretation, and sometimes controversial. E.g., it can be hard to draw the line between heavy metal and some early 1980s hard rock.

Significance of music

Music is an irreplaceable part and parcel of our culture. It plays a pivotal role in religious rituals in social activities (e.g., dancing). Dancing and music are like twins of the same mother it runs in various ways in a different art of dancing. It spreads ranging from amateur karaoke singing to playing in an amateur funk band or singing in a community choir. People sing music as a hobby, like a teen playing cello in a youth orchestra, or work as a professional musician or singer.

MUSIC as an entertainment

Within the arts, music could be classified as a performing art, fine art or as an auditory art. Music has immense entertainment quality may be played or sung and heard live at an orchestra performance or a  rock concert or as part of a dramatic work, or it may be recorded and listened to on a radio, CD player, MP3 player ,film song, smart phone or TV show.

Performance

The music industry includes the individuals who create new songs and musical pieces (such as songwriters and composers), individuals who perform music (which include orchestra, jazz band and rock band musicians, singers and conductors),   who record music (music producers and sound engineers), individuals who organize concert tours, and individuals who sell recordings, sheet music, and scores to customers. Even once a song or piece has been performed, music critics, music journalists, and music scholars may assess and evaluate the piece and its performance.

MUSIC AND ELEMENTS:

Music has many elements ,based on it a music is composed like and pitch and melody, harmony and chords,  Rhythm, texture ,timbre  and expression etc.  It has different form of a pitch like sophic form, binary form, medley,  ternary ,Rondo form and variational form.
